i have a cracked main leaf on my drivers side. i just got two complete leaf springs the other day(used, but good shape). when i install these, im going to put a 4" suspension lift on with the after market shackle flip for the rear. im wondering if i should put a leaf or two out of the old spring packs into the "new" packs to stiffen it up a bit. i generally only tow my 18' boat, a pop up camper, etc. nothing too big. but, i wanto beable to load it down if need be--either with wood or w.e. is this a good idea? or what downsides would i have, and which leafs should i use?
