So my rachet got stuck while trying to remove a spark plug. Eventually I got it out, but it cost me incredibly dearly.
It broke the sparkplug in half. Now I've got half a spark plug stuck in my cylinder. I'm so incredibly pissed off you don't understand. Is there anything I can do besides spending a few thousand dollars at a shop to get it out?
Yeah, I just got it out, thankfully. It was the ceramic part that broke. I thought I was totally screwed at that point.
One more thing. I finished replacing the drivers side plugs, but I can't get any of the passenger side out. It's way too cramped and they're pretty well stuck in there. W/o much room to move it's going to be impossible to get them out. Would it hurt to put WD-40 on them? Also whats the best way to get around the small space?
Try jacking up the front of the truck but not far enough where the tires are off the ground. Go through the plastic on the passenger side fender well. The plastic piece comes out pretty easy. I've used wd-40 a few times on different vehicles and have not had a problem.
