weird a/c problem help!
1999 f-350 v-10 my a/c works great, nice and cold 90% of the time but the other 10% it does not work at all, the compressor won't come on according to my cheap gauge it has a full charge of freon. Any ideas maybe a pressure switch or something?

It's most likely the compressor clutch. It can be confirmed when it has failed, by whacking on the clutch face with a long screwdriver or something you can get to it safely with, and if it engages, you can try and take a shim out of it and put it back on. Or since you have it off, just replace it.
I've also seen the connector to the compressor go bad. You can wiggle it while it has failed to see if it kicks in.
It's not likely a pressure switch. Not that they don't fail but it's so rare.
