flexplate and bellhousing
I have 2 questions. I have a 1994 351w long block and am putting on an AODE-W trans. These are going into a '56 F100. I am not sure which flex plate to put on it. I know that I need the 164 tooth plate but don't know if I need the 28oz. or 50 oz balancer. Also, I am not sure which size of bolts are needed to mount the bellhousing to block. I called the ford guys and they could not give me any answers, only a possible part number for the flex plate, with no understanding what it actually was, and absolutely no idea about the bolt. Their computer can't tell them. I imagine the bolt is probably somewhere around a 1/2 inch or 14mm, but would prefer to just know and not go buy the bolts and test fit them. This is my first Ford, so any help is appreciated.

The bellhousing bolts are 7/16". You should be able to figure out the flexplate conundrum pretty easy. Here's the flexplate you need...doesn't say anything about the balance weight though:
