I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there was any differences between the 70's 80's and 90's frames that would not allow swapping the beds (I.E width, bolt holes, etc) short of just trying to bolt one on I can't seem to find any info on this.
Any info on this would greatly appreciated.
There are even some frame width differences between the early '70's 4wd and the 2wd. Just have to drill new holes is all. '80-90's bed on a dent is just plain fugly though.
Well I don't know anything about this really but I think the 80's beds and 90's will work. This pic is proof a 90's one would work. At least it looks like it will.
thanks guys,
I thought it would just wasn't sure so I figure go to the experts right, and as far as the looks I'm not worried on that there isn't any lines to match up its only half a frame made into a trailer.
I was just wondering if it was a width/wheel well problem mainly. I figured I could drill the frame if needed.
I guess I should have mentioned it was a trailer in the beginning I just didn't want to be buried in a Chevy for cutting up a Ford (my brother wrapped it around a tree and completely killed it all that was left was the bed and back frame).
