New here!

Hey everyone. I'm new to this forum; well new to all forums at that. Just bought a 1993 F150 XLT 4x4 with 5.0 and E40D trans. It seems to be an awesome truck, but I'm also a Ford guy. I feel like I got a really good deal at only $2500 from the original owner. It has a few problems wit it though:

1. When you accelerate quickly there is a hard shift, or even if I'm cruising and it has to shif down it's very jerky.
2. Sometimes the A/C will just stop blowing, but then it will come back on.
3. I can be driving down the road and just pull the key out of the ignition switch, but once the switch is put back in the lock position I can't turn it unless the key is in there.
4. All the presets/clock will sometimes reset itself.
5. Right side exhaust manifold is cracked.
6. The shift linkage is off (as in it doesn't line up with the numbers/letters on the dash).
7. Last I test drove a 1996 F150 XL with a 5.0 and a 5speed, and it seems as if it had more power than my auto. I wasn't sure if there was a different gear ratio from the autos to the manuals.

I know I am going to have to do some research for all this crap, but if someone knows some quick fixes for any of this, or just feels like helpin a guy out that would be awesome. I'm a mechanic, so things that confuse most people I seem to grasp quickly.
