ac problems,help
the ac is acting crazy.at night or a cloudy day it cool pretty good.the hot days it barly cool at all.the clutch kicks in for 5-10 seconds then out for about the same.then it will stay in for maybe 2 minutes then it will start thr short cycles again.i thought you might have an idea before i go to dealer.I bought this truck new in 2002 the ac has never been serviced,has always worked.

Check refrigerant, check the air gap in the clutch, but mine ended up being a worn out clutch on the compressor. Mine cycled a bunch and never really blew that cool, then it got to a point that it stopped working at idle. New clutch from the parts store and that thing blows colder than it did when it was new (at least it seems that way).
