Need help with alt wiring
Ok guys n gals, I'm almost to the point of firing up the new motor, waiting on the new headers to come in but ran into abit of a problem. I forgot how the wires were hooked up on the back of my alternator. I have 3 wires comming off the volt reg that run to the back of it 2 of them have the ends that slip on over the small bolts that stick out of the alt and the other is the red wire that has the reg hook up that gets bolted down. How do the wires get hooked up?

What type of alternator is it Tard? Year?
Do you have an ammeter or battery light?
Should have tabs on the regulator with letters and matching letters on the studs on the back of the alternator.
This one is mid 60s Ford with an Ammeter. See if it looks familiar to start with and let me know:
