Does anyone know of a place to get a decent underseat storage container for the back seat in a 96 F250 Supercab? Specifically which model number would be awesome. I have a gray interior, but don't really care what the color would be.
my 95 f150 has room under the back seat for storage, probably 6 inches or more(just a guess),but if you make a compartment under there,it would be impossible to fold the seat down easily. My kids are teens now, they ride back there comfortably,if the seat was too low they would be complaining, trust me!! LOL
Yes, the backseat. There's not much under the front, either but practically none under the rear. I think I have a road atlas and a few other thin things like that stuffed under there. Maybe 150 is different than 250?
There used to be a company back in the 80's / 90's that made a seat riser kit for these early extended cabs. It made it much easier for adult to sit in back as well as allowing greater height for storage.
I have not checked, but you might see if the company still exists - they had ne of those smaller classified adds in the back of the various trucks mags.
Are you guys saying that 1994 and before have supercab seats that are literally on the floor? I re-checked last night and there is about a 6-8" high "wedge" of room under the seat.
I know that 80-86 and 87-91 the rear extended cab seat is on the floor. It really sucks for anyone over 12 years old. I thought that all 92-96 trucks had the normal height rear seat, but I'm starting to think that 94 was the first year of the better back seat.
