this is weird!
well, my 2002 f-150 4.6 is going crazy.first my 4wd quits working and now this problem. if im going down the hwy at 55 with my cruise control on, everything good. but all the sudden my cruise control will cut off and then my a/c will stop blowing cold. i thought it was a coincidence but about 15 minutes later i tried to put on my cruise control and it worked and my a/c started blowing cold again. anybody have anything?

Unique problem.
I searched my service disc on both functions and found a common fuse to both systems.
It's #5 a 15 amp fuse.
Try replacing it and be sure it's seated in place.
Other than this, I see nothing else in common.
In the user manuel page 207 for fuse locations, it also states the fuse feeds the speed control and functions for air handling as well.
If power fails from this fuse, both systems will fail.
