need help identifying wire.

I have 1980 truck that I strippped the wiring harness out of. I now have a 86 truck that I swapped cabs with and in switch over I have lost track of a wiring connection on drivers side firewall. it is a large around 10 awg. wire yellow in color. and comes out of harness that leads to ign module and left side lighting. If I turn key on there is s.v in wire. I have not found what is not working yet. On the 1980 truck there was a short pigtail that plugged into it and and eyelet attached to a junction block just above it.However on the 86 that juntion block is not on the truck. just wire. there was a 300 engine pulled out of truck. maybe it was power supply for some emission components. The haynes manual I have is not detailed enough. If any one could maybe even look at there truck and see what it leads too. would appreciate.

Large 10 gauge yellow wires are usually main power feeds. But they usually are around the starter solenoid, and then run in through the passenger side and feed the ignition switch and the fuse box.

I am not sure, but a wild guess would be a trailer tow battery charge feed wire that may have run to a relay and then along the driver's side frame rail back to the rear bumper.

Text for above photos.

In the first photo it shows the terminal stud which is HOT with the KEY OFF.
Below the large wire on the stud are 2 other small wires which both are fusible links.

The yellow wire shown in the second photo goes into a blue connector, the other side of the blue connect has a short wire that goes to the large stud.

Not sure what this is for but my truck does have the factory towing package. There is a towing relay shown in the first photo mounted just aft of the cruise attach bracket.

The Yellow wire on the drivers side is the main battery feed to power other optional extras the truck may or may not be equipped with from the factory. Most trucks this wire is left unplugged.

It's either for:

1) Factory Trailer Wiring
2) Factory Camper Wiring
3) Factory Dual batteries.

Any one of these systems have the factory junction block like pictured above. Need more info to determine which option is which on your specific application.

that is exactly the junction stud I was talking about. My truck has factory tow and also is a camper special. So it makes sense. Thanks for help.
