78 Auto Steering Column Swap Help
I'm switching in an original auto tilt column. I was told this was a 20 min job, but with my luck it never works out that way. Got the old one out and the new one in. The problem is getting the shift rod hooked back up. Any tips to getting the bushing back in good and tight. I've tried to knock it in with a hammer but theres not much room to work with. Also tried squeezing it in by using a c-clamp. Any tips? Should I go ahead and replace the bushing. Thanks.
