2006 explorer transmission slipping

2006 explorer transmission slipping
I have a 2006 explorer that the engine revs before transmission changes into next gear! It seems to be in lower gears more and when accelerating from a stop! On another forum i found a quick blurb about valve body gaskets. Is this the problem and how can i verify?

and have them run an operational test on the trans.Good luck with it.
