get out on interstate and hammer it watching pressure level out from peak to ????
from say 60 to 95 mph DON"T WRECK YOUR TRUCK OR KILL SOMONE
that final level indictates wear on HPOP weak HPOP = no fuel due to weak injection pulse into cylinder
new you care about duty cycle % duty cycle of injector control pressure
The duty cycle will be high if pump is worn becuase computer is askign pump for pressure but pump can't make it so it closes the bleed valve ie more pressure to injectors = more fuel
if the duty cycle is high say above 45 to 50 % i think you need to check ...your pump is worn out and no matter what your injectors can't get the oil to make the fuel go in at the rate demanded by the throttle+computer
Now you care about manifold Guage pressure it is your BOOST that the MAP sensor see's
without boost your computer will not allow fuel in a stock setting you need a tuner with a 80 to 125 hp settings to to help you see these things
in stock mode you should see 17 psi of boost under WOT and a load ie acceleration
These trucks are about two things AIR/BOOST and FUEL
without either one your truck is a dog and gets poor MPG
