351W crankshaft bushing
Can someone tell me if ALL crankshafts for 351W's are machined to take a bush for a manual trans. spigot?
i.e. - whether originally fitted with a manual trans or auto?

The snout of the torque convertor in an automatic application is nominally the same size as the pilot bushing and fits in that recess instead of a bushing, so Ford machines all the crankshafts with this bore.
