insurance woes

My 1997 Ford F150 pickup was involved in an accident and totally wrecked on January 14, 2003. The adjuster from my insurance company says my vehicle was worth $7900. I don’t agree. I would like to hear from anyone who has bought or sold a comparable vehicle around the time of the accident so I can provide actual sales to the adjuster. I live in Minnesota, so sales near here would be especially helpful. The specifications on the pickup are as follows:

1997 Ford F150 4x2 XL
Odometer 58,550
Power Windows
Power Locks
Air Conditioning
Tilt Wheel
Cruise Control
Rear Step Bumper
New motor—December 2002
New tires—date

Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Have you tried talking to a dealer and seeing if they would provide that information.

Looks like the adjuster could of been close, pending the condition of the truck before.[

You're basically screwed. Used car values have nose dived since the no interest financing bonanza. Unfortunately that also has an impact on what the insurance company will give you for your car.
