[quote=grinnergetter;9219156]Truck was a camper special originally and will be going on a 73 highboy 4WD frame.

Tabs have been welded to frame so I dont have to mess with making even more holes in the bed.

I am not familiar with camper special beds but I`d assume they would be the same (short of the toolbox). On my 78 Explorer bed onto my highboy we had to make brackets for the bed but since one of the crossmembers was at a different location on the frame (third bed crossmember back) we had to drill holes in the frame and and make the third mount back be about 1/4 of an inch lower than the rest so it would sit correctly with the frame. I just cant imagine there wouldn`t be a difference in the beds crossmembers like mine on your truck, but then again maybe because it is a camper special bed it is different. Good luck with it though. Keep up the good work.

These are the tabs I needed to fab. I did not have to move crossmembers for the bed but I did have to move and fabricate the last 2 CM's to accomodate the fuel tank.

Part numbers for rockers are LH....D3TZ16451A
RH...D3TZ16450A

I like the way you welded them on there. It looks really clean, well done. Since my truck has a 3 in. body lift and it makes for better clearences we did this for the bed mounts.

asuming you have front drums on your 1973 4x4 chassis you wont be able to use the proportioning valve.. either way i still want them brakets, they are 2wd specific. can you post a pic of the brake/hub assemblie and how much do you want for them.. thanks joe

I'm going with discs on the front(dana 60)...I looked today and I'll bet your after the brackets that are about as tall as the calipers. ie what the caliper attaches to.

I'll get a pic tomorrow and post it as soon as I can...I have no idea what they are worth but your welcome to them for a fair price.

Here's your pic. That is mostly scale by the way. It is the cleanest frame I have. You wont be dissappointed.

So, I have to take them off, so what do you think my time to take off, package up, and go to post office is worth?

79 f150 guy....Looking at the pic the bolts that would be right by the center of the spindle measures 3 inches on center. Distance across caliper pins are 12 inches on center.

I measured in the dark, if those dont add up let me know.

Test fit on passenger side. Lines all look real considering the total rebuild on passenger side. Driver side isn't anywhere near as bad shape.
