ok i know its not a ford part but it was an after market part put on a ford f150 that i belive was a camper special or something that had extra tanks. heres the link to the pictures of the sending unit, https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...ding-unit.html im trying to find out what i can use to replace it, i originaly i planed on using a universal sending unit but they are not availible with a fuel pickup tube. someone plz help me figure this thing out lol. if i had the money i would just buy a fuel cell, a gauge and call it a day but im broke and my brother is helping me get this thing together so any help is much appreciated and will go along way!

That is an aftermarket sending unit, it's not genuine Ford. I can tell by the float, the thickness of the flange.
Original Ford sending units have a crooked arm where the copper float attaches.
The float is the same 1957/79 and fits everything...except 1978/79 Fiesta's.
I believe Dave (garbz2) has a source for these aftermarket sending units
I know its aftermarket and not ford, I stated that. Im just hoping that someone sees it and knows what it is because if not then im going to have to get a different tank and all that bs.
