I plan on doing an international DT360 swap into mine eventually. Its a far far stouter engine than a 5.9 cummins or any powerstroke, and only a few inches longer than the 5.9 cummins. And if you're going international(7.3) then you might as well go for the stronger engine!

That is AWESOME! I've got a few old Farmall tractors (30s & 40s). Can you use a DT466 or is that way bigger?
huh, i've got a complete 8.2 detroit....wonder if i could fit that...
There was someone on here a while ago who was either trying to or in the process of doing a Cat 3208 swap...I don't remember which.
Of the diesel swaps I have seen on here, my favorite by far is the black flatbed '79? F350 dually with a Perkins diesel, tilt front end, and the big rig style interior. AWESOME!!!
What you don't see in the third video is the massive black cloud trailing behind that '72, thanks to those big injectors. This would make a good nightmare truck...the pickup version of the rig in "Duel," if anyone besides me is actually a fan of that movie.
As always, hearing protection should be standard with a 2 stroke Detroit swap.
Sorry, TECH51...I'm not trying to hijack your thread.
