how hard?
How hard would you say it is to chabge the inner pinion bearing on a 8.8 3.55 geared rear end.. Do I have to pull the drive gear to yank the pinion gear? Any tips or easy suggestions befor I go and spend $800 to have this beast rebuilt?

Since you're changing a part that affects pinion depth, you should also have the gears set up again. You're doing everything to rebuild the rear end except replacing the gears. Might as well do it right, or you'll be doing it again shortly.
