Customed Interior?

I've already added some lincoln buckets to my truck, which i might add are quite comfy. I'm also looking into adding other mods to the interior. I'm going to probably dye/paint most of it back Red, the trucks exterior color, or paint it black.

I was also thinking of adding under dash entry neons, that come on when the doors open. Something that glowed red or blue.

I'm shopping around for a instrument cluster that will swap into my dash that already has a tach, or Either a Sunpro Unit to monitor the RPMs cruising down the highway.

i'm not looking for anything real fancy, just something i could accomplish over the weekend, or in a couple hours a day.

Any other suggestions are Welcomed!

You can see a lot of what I've done to mine in my signature link - automatic headlights; auto-dimming compass mirror; late-model electronic speedometer and cruise control; PW/PL/RKE; courtesy light cutoff switch; EFI; late-model dome lamps; etc. Some of the planned mods are: 4WABS w/Traction Control; power mirrors; autodimming brights; central power inverter; & rear defrost. I did a lot of the same things to this 75 Bronco.

I'm thinking of adding the lincoln auto dimmer switch to my truck, along with that spiffy rear view mirror, since my truck didn't come with one.

I'm also looking for a delay switch for my windshield wipers, while i don't mind flicking the switch every few seconds during a light rain, it does get annoying.

I'm also adding some charcoal grey tint, about 35%, so that i can see through the stuff. (bad eyes.)

i've also thought about either mounting my cb to the dash, or fabbing up a bracket that puts it within easy reach, but tucked neatly out of the way.

i plan on dying the buckets a dark red, along with the rest of the interior, while adding keeping the lincoln logo in a silver, or either black contrast to the seat.

If anyone has some more suggestions to add to my list, keep em coming!

The wiper delay is by far the easiest on your list - all you need is a delay switch and a delay module, which just plugs between the new switch and the old connector. I collect parts like that (and mirrors) so if you can't find one locally or on eBay, send me an e-mail or PM.

Customed Interior?

My plans for the interior have changed some over the past couple weeks. While i like my interior how it is, the bucket seats are going to have to go. I've almost been in a wreck recently and i realized just how close i was to the steering wheel, Not only that, if the truck ever rolled, i would have one bad headache as my head is barely inches from the roof. (i'm 6'4.)

I'm going to swap back in a bench seat, and continue with my planned mods from there.

My next question is, is there any way to take the stock guages that have the clear needles and paint them a different color, so that they glow at night? or will i have to get special bulbs to allow me to change the color? As of the moment they glow just plain white.

I appreciate the input guys.
