Operating voltage

I got worried as I checked my voltage with my Insight CST and it was 11.8v. I started the truck and after running for a minute or two it was at 13.0 v. That didnt seem right so I popped open the hood and checked hte batteries and alt. The batts were are 12.6 to 12.8 just sitting and after the truck was started I checked the alt and it was roughly at 14v. Does all of that seem normal? Why is the CST about a 1 volt lower then the actual reading? Any ideas?

well your volt meter readings sound good.
so far as the cts. is it reading b+, Vbatt, Vpwr? the reason I ask is it possibel to be reading the right value and you are using the wrong pid.

I just went and looked and all it says is battery voltage. I looked all through them and that was the only one to do with voltage. The have an information button and all it said was battery voltage also. Could the CST be defective?

Edge said they are aware of the problem and are currenting testing a fix/update. Funny thing is I got my SCT X-3 and put a tune in today and the CST seems to register the correct voltage. I emailed Edge and they didnt have a clue as to why but will send me a update when it comes out of test.
