better brakes?
okay so im looking at upgrading the brakes on my 73 highboy. here is my problems. i now have the booster bracket off of a 77 so i need the super short shaft out of the booster. i have a brand new booster and cylinder off of a 73 on it that i shortend the shaft to work on the booster. i have 35" tires that are massively heavy. i still have the drum brakes all the way around. now i use to be able to lock up the front wheels with my old booster and cylinder before they went bad. i have no idea what they were off of as it had an adjustable push rod. i do tow and move a bunch of things with this truck. so im thinking the dual diaphram booster off of a 77 f350 would work great, or so i think if anyone has any input on this i'd love it.
