help help help

Had an egr go bad is mid nebraska yesterday and went to the local bumpkin ford dealer. they had none in stock so they removed and cleaned, reinstalled egr. two codes came up with egr issues.

two hundred miles later the idiot light comes on again and alas, a loud "wooshing" sound coming into the cab through "the vents". ?

anyway it gets louder with higher rpm's and is annoying as hell. i am hauling a 11k montana from indiana to fresno ca, heavy pig it is and will r and r the valve when i arrive in fresno late tonight.

no turbo codes came up with the diagnostic and can you tell me what the "whooshing" jet like sound is and what is it related to? i can hear the intercooler fan working and doing its job properly so wth?????

on the road in abou an hour so i will check back then.

I would check the CAC boots for the turbo. They are blue. They may have not had the hose clamps on tight enough and may have slipped off. Just a idea for you to check.
