their great trucks. I just got my first car, a 1978 f250 custom with a highly modified 351M. I got it from free from my dad, and i'm working on getting it into a drivable stage by the time I turn 16 in 2 years

It's old, was on my way home from my girlfriends house, its about a 25mi drive on back roads, about 10:30pm, I had to stop 4 times to get out and add 2.5 quarts of oil to her on my way home, i was about a half mile from my house and i had ZERO oil pressure, as the gauge hung limp. So i slipped her in nuetral and let her idol down and kept it runnin so i could still have power steering and brakes, i was doing 45 when i did that and just coasted home. Shes still sitting in the exact same spot right now out in my driveway as it was a week ago with a quart of oil on the driveway. It also growled like a mother from shot bottom end bearings, those bad bearings (im pretty sure) have killed the crank, and it leaks from almost every gasket and seal haha. It needs a full on overhaul to get that thing goin again. So i just decided to toss that motor and i have a 400 that i can toss into it and throw some new seals in it for wwwaaayyy cheaper, than to fix the 351m. Besides, who doesnt want 49 more FREE cubes, eh?

My first was a 1967 GTO when I was 16, sold it and was looking for a Harley when I was 18 and my mom hated the idea of a bike so my stepdad gave me a 1957 Ford F100 short box for my birthday. Not a dent but I wished I still had that truck.

My first car was a 84 Ford EXP could not get a 70's Ford truck or Mustang or anything like that then was told insurance would be to high an I was not working at 16 yet. I had noway to parents went through a divorce an I had to do visits on weekends. I could not get it then but fast forward over 12 years an here it sits & next will be a 60'S Mustang. It might have not been my first but it & Mustang will be my last thats for sure.

First car was and is a 1978 F250 Custom, 400, NP435, NP205. Been in my blood for about 3 months now since I first saw it.

Been fixin it for a month now, and it still only runs when it feels like it. I'm 17 and I plan on givin it to my kids, if it doesn't kill me first!!!

Well, I'm 17 and I've just got a '79 f-100 long box, and I'm trying to figure out some stuff with the engine, but it's a work in progress!
