Grey bottle in the summer, white bottle in the winter, 12oz to a 30 gallon tank, and you're all set.
I run 10oz per 15 gallons. The back of the bottle says to double it up for maximum benefits. Took my mileage up close to 2mpg over the 5oz for 15 gal formula. I buy the big bottle for $15.00 at Wal-Mart and it lasts me a month and a half.
Already stocked up for the winter with 4 of the big white bottles too...lol
Ok awesome thanks a lot I will run it every time I fill up then. Ya bought a little bottle of the grey at walmart a few weeks ago. But have only used it twice. If its ok to use it every time now I will.
I am completely sold on the Diesel Kleen in the 6.4 liter. The back of the bottle says to double up on it for maximum benefit, and the mileage gains and distance between regens makes it more than worthwhile. It more than pays for itself in fuel savings....just like the back of the bottle says it will.
I used to put Diesel Kleen in my 7.3L and thought it payed for itself. Then one day about 2 years ago I just quit using it and mileage stayed the same. I haven't used any additives since. The bottles always leak in the tool box anyway.
I was careful when ultra-low sulfur diesel first hit the market because the lubricity was stripped away during manufacturing of the fuel. If I'm correct, that has been changed and adequate lubricity is no longer a concern for older engines. If that's not the case then I want to know so I can change my habits.
