I've looked through the previous posts but still don't know what's available for a 12" clutch for the FE motor. I bought a new flywheel that's drilled for 11 or 12" clutch. Thought the 12" would be the way to go for towing, etc. Anyone have a source for a 12" clutch/pressure plate for a 410FE? This will be going into a F100. Thanks
Clutchmasters in Rialto, Calif.....they have been building my clutches for 30 years and all I can say is excellent service, quality and the price parallels oem.
Will, I did. They had no clue, or offered little to no information. Being that the 390 listed an 11 or 11 1/2" clutch not a 12" in their book. Reading other post I know it was an issue with the 400/351 crowd but not sure it it's a problem with the FE, was hoping someone had run the 12" finger pressure plate on their FE.
I should make it clear that I did not contact clutchmasters about the fit, although that's probably going to be my next call. I had checked with 2 local shops.
