Hello, My 79 f600 370 2v 2wd 5speed started blowing smoke out of the exhaust while i was bleeding the brakes, The smoke was really heavy at first and then was just a steady flow of white smoke, I didnt hear any knocking or anything unusual,
This morning I went out and stated it up and let it warm up and there was only a little smoke
The oil and filter has been recently been changed and filter
somone told me it could be the umbrellas over the valves
the truck has 75,000 miles, any help will help me alot
Fire it up and pump on the brakes a bit. You might be sucking brake fluid via a leaking master and vacuum booster. You should have a hydra-vac under the cab that provides boost for the brakes.
