What are the symptoms of water in fuel??? Lights..stalling.?? The Haynes manual says "If there is alot in the tank the water in fuel light comes on right after filling up. I don't have that but have intermitent sputtering after braking hard or cornering. Doesn't seem to do it on the highway. Should I run till almost empty and fill with fresh?? What about any additive.
Have you changed your fuel filter in the fuel bowl?? I'd start there. Theirs also a yellow lever behind the fuel bowl, thats you FB drain. Not sure if this is relavent to your problem but its a start..
Open that valve under the fuel bowl and let it drain out. The bowl gathers fuel, it may help to drain it out. If that doesn't work replace the filter. Have to start there before anything else.

Otherwise I recommend that you never run below 1/4 tank.
Dont forget to throw a catch can under it....Fuel will make a big puddle under your truck. I did my filter and man was there a puddle. Just a lil helpful tip to keep your driveway clean and clear.
