Happy Birthday
I put 36-48 but I turn 49 in two weeks. We've had our X for four years. She's got 168,000 on her now. Loving every minute that I get to drive her.

I'm 54 and we bought our 2000 in May of 2007. Have only put about 20,000 miles on her in 3 years but we use it mostly to tow our 31 Ft TT. This is definitely my favorite vehicle that we have owned.

32 here and it looks like I just bought your twin X with 125k. I'm hoping to get a 31' TT for the family next Summer. Heard they'll tow it with ease...

my girlfriend wanted us to get a tahoe, i said i either wanted a truck or a diesel excursion. Only took a month or two to get her on board for the ex. She drives it more then me. Our neighboors must love us, two muscle cars and a giant suv. . . haha

I'm 43 ,bought when I was 35. I had two teenagers and two pre teens. Now have a high school senior, one in college, two that are married, and one grandson. Time flies so fast. I"m sitting at 199,000 miles, and she stills runs like the day I bought it. I just bought my wife and 2010 Escape XLT,hopefully it will be just as trust worthy.

I'm 59 and I bought my 04 Eddie Bauer in May of 06 with 23,000 miles on it. I use it to pull my 31' travel trailer also. It now has 62,000 miles on it and I have not had one problem with it. Other than it keeps my Mobile gas card charged to the limit during the summer

Oh, except for the stupid locking hubs being froze up. I am about to fix them though !

From the poll so far looks like the EX is a "middle-aged" favorite. Fortunately, I am in the later stage of my Childhood (over 60) and could have bought any Tow Vechicle but the EX is just an all-around great platform to work with.

Besides, there is nothing like a Truck you can work on to keep you "young" and the EX is far enough off the ground, I can get my belly under it!!!

I am 25...Got mine a few months ago.....

I've owned:

85 Gulf Volkswagon
95 Ford Aerostar
98 Ford Explorer (my neighbor owns, how I miss it)
02 Explorer (still own)
04 Expedition (still own)
07 Econoline (still own)
03 Excursion

The X, hands down, is my favorite...I can see myself owning that thing till the day I die... She just seems worth the effort of maintaining!

Am I the only one that gets a smile on his face when he sees his toy parked out in the lot, or in his driveway, or as the background on his desktop.......

Ok I think I have a problem.......

I'm one of the younger ones here at 17. I've had my EX for about 7 years (well, my parents have had it for about 7 years), but when I leave the nest, she's coming with me.
