A/C HELP!!!

ok I'm not sure what its called for sure but the Condeser ( the part that is next to the heater core) needs to be replaced in My 04 6 liter..My A/C guy says its a 2 hour job and gets done from the engine bay side...I'm looking for some guideance..I can turn wrenchs just fine ( I build alot of old school stuff from scratch) but I'm short on cash so I'm going to dive in and do it myself....

any help greatly appreciated I tried searching the site and couldn't find the right post to remove it

If it's a 2 hr job I would pay someone to do it even if he charges $125 an hour

Next to the heater core would be under the dash and would be the evaporator. Get a Haynes manual and you will be able to do it. Just make sure you evacuate the system first.
