Part numbers

I am having a hard time finding exact part numbers for my '79 truck, NP435, NP205, and Dana axles. I have ordered the factory truck manual from Motor Haven - does it contain individual part numbers for the Ford parts? I know if you call parts suppliers with your bill of materials number off of the axles they can find individual parts, but I want their source of P/N's. Information on New Process stuff seems very hard to come across with the exception of small sections of maintenance procedures in truck shop manuals. Surely there must be more information out there...any ideas?

Ahhh... Information!

-Costs $$$ and those companies that have it want $$$ for it. Those suppliers have finagled that info and don't give it away.

You can find old micro-fiche parts breakdowns for Fords but I have no idea if they break down internal axle parts. Even then it would be stock parts for a year/model.

All the pertinent info you require is on the buck tag attached to the part if you have it.
