ey travis, when you picking up your set? i was on that thread at PSN not too long ago and you were all over that like white on rice
I actually talked to him about it a few weeks before the start of that thread. my kit should be here in another week or 2. I haven't ordered the headers yet, but that is on the list later on down the road.
Glenn, you've heard cody's sled truck right??? it has headers on it..
AHHH, That did sound good. Are the headers a help in pulling? Stupid question, Cody was pulling!! I'm not spoiling quick enough but I'm thinking that when I finally get the bellows on that should help. I'm also thinking about doing something with the intake plemiums (sp), what's out there for them if I can twist your arm a little.
I'd bet they'd make a big difference on high horsepower trucks that turn 4400 rpm or more.
You'd be hard pressed to get a HEUI engine to turn 4400 rpm or more and actually make any power. The injectors just aren't fast enough yet, but they are getting there.

On the plenums check out the cast aluminum 3" plenums from DI Performance. They are real nice plenums and since they are cast he can sell them cheaper than you can buy the billet 3" setups for.
