Hey everyone!
Time to mark your caledars. Saturday, April 26th is the annual swap at Bandimere speedway. Gates open at 6:30 and admission is $6. Remember to wear a coat, it's still a little crisp then....
Happy Shopping, --Mike G
Hey! Could you elaborate on the swap meet up at Bandimere? Is it Ford only? What all goes on there? Iam very interested, but never hear of these things until they are over! The wife will be outta town and I have three old Fords to buy for!
Hi Mike:
Glad to expand for you. This swap is for all automobile goodies that other car guys don't need/want anymore... It is not limited to FORD only. There is even memorabilia (sp?) and autos for sale. Larger vendors who specialize in selling auto specific restoration and/or used parts can be found as well. If there is something particular you may be interested in, let me know. Maybe I can put my .02 cents in. For $6 it's a great way to spend a chilly Spring morning!

Hi Bronc;
There are indeed two other events at the speedway every year. One is an "All Ford" day and the other is "Truckfest" I do not have the dates for these committed to memory yet, but I will find them and post Tuesday.

The "cr" on the end of the "bron" is for my hometown... Castle Rock. I have been to Longmont several times.... nice town. Thanks Mike, my calander is marked too. Maybe the snow will be gone by then... we got about 4-1/2 feet down here and I had some fun in the ol' Bronco out movin' snow ( I do commercial snow removal on the side) for the last week. Only got stuck once, fartin around driftbustin and slid sideways into a BIG one. Then I dropped the pressure down to about 30 psi on my studded 31" M&S's (all around) and started pulling the other guys out. My crew has an assortment of "other" 4x4's so we were all havin fun with them. Just one of the perks of working in a blizzard - the WHOLE parking lot is YOURS! 'Never did have to put on the chains (I carry a full set of those - just in case!) Worked 53 hours on 16 hours of sleep... should be a pretty nice check though. I'll have to save a little for July...
Just wanted to let you know I'll take my 67 352 FE block and parts and Cruise-O-Matic projects to the swap meet at Bandimere. There's no way I can get them done this year. Not lookin' to make money, just get what I have in 'em. Stop by and say Hi!
