You may be missing the Ford SYNC, CD changer, and some seat configurations.

When I got my XLT, I sat in an XL and that seemed to be what stood out as what it was missing.

do you get the cooler looking message center on the XLT or is that extra?? on the XL I saw it had a very simple looking message center however it still did have outside temp.

I do not have the super cool LCD message center. It's a regular blue LED display.

Im pretty impressed with the ford sync though. I was skeptical about it but if you drive and talk a lot or like music its worth it.

You have to order the XLT Premium Package to get the LCD productivity screen on the XLT. It is standard on the Lariat. NA on the XL.

When you are spending this much on a vehicle $2000 is not that much in the big picture to get many more standard items. Most XL's I have seen seem to be used as work trucks. If you are trying to save as much upfront as you can, get the 17" tires for now. I wanted the 20" but went to the 18" to save a little. You can at least upgrade them later, you can't add all the other XLT options on later though. All personal preference I guess. IMHO

from doing alittle checking all the XLT's in my area show a 1k discount for XLT value when you view the window sticker, so the reality is that means if I am buying the truck at invoice its basically costing me an extra $850 to do an XLT, I get the choice of interior color which I would rather have tan anyways rather than the light gray the XL comes with. power telescoping mirrors are an option on the xlt for $165, chrome grill, and aluminum wheels. to me thats worth a grand, so I am leaning toward an XLT

Just bought an XLT with the XLT extra package or whatever theyre calling it now. Yes the rebate is still going strong for the XLT so... whats another 1000 bucks on top of the price tag, realistically... just my 2 cents.

If when ordering a F-350, CC, 4x2, SB the GVWR is 10,800 lbs with 17" wheels, with the 18" wheels option it goes to 11,200 lbs. As the 17" tires have a lower load rating.

I received the XLT $1,000 rebate also.
The flow-through console sure is nice over whatever that is in the XL (unless you get the bench seat). I have cloth seats with power driver seat.
I don't have the fancy LCD screen.
No SYNC but it does have a line in for MP3 player.
Basic 1 cd radio unit.
18 in wheels.
I have the package below the premium XLT. I think it was called the appearance package when I ordered. Did not come with the external keypad (something I've always had on XLT vehicles).

I'm looking at getting a new 2011 F-250 with the 6.7 Diesel, XLT. If I don't get SYNC, does the standard radio have an AUX input for my MP3 player?

tnx

AUX (aka, line in).
My XLT has it with the basic 1 cd player radio unit.
