so confused

Hi,

I'm as green as it comes in this truck game but I'm ready to start learning. I've just purchased a `95 F-150 full bed with a 4.9L V6 and I'm wanting to make it growl. So, I'm looking for a dual exhaust system that is going to be throaty and loud at the same time. With my limited knowledge on trucks I'd like something that doesn't require constant maintenance and care. I've had my eye on the Flowmaster American Thunder Series system. Can anyone fill me in on if this is what I'm looking for? If not, what am I looking for? lol

Thanks,
Chappy

Welcome to the forum.
First off, just so nobody makes fun of you, you have a Inline 6, not a v6. Very good engine, lots of low end torque.
I believe that year had a split exhaust manifold, so you could dual it from there. Not sure if the manufacturers make a dual for your rig. You could have one custom made.
If you dont get much of a response from here, go to the Inline 6 forum and ask them.

Thanks for the help Tony (especially the engine type clarification). I'm gonna switch on over to the inline 6 forum.
