Changed the front shocks to Rancho 5000's. Drives like a completely different rig! Found the cause of a pesky noise under the passenger floor board... the bolt that holds the sway bar link to the frame was loose enough to move while driving but not by hand. FYI it's a creaky noise with vibration under the floor board when loose. Drove me nuts until I noticed the markings on the frame where it had moved. Did a final checkup before tomorrow's start of a 2 week trip to Yellowstone and back from TX.

It was dark red, I think it was a flying spur after looking at the Bentley website. Extremely rare sighting around here!

I'm sure, Ohio only has one bentley dealer. That being said, I don't know if I would own one unless I had a nearby dealer. I have 3 dealers within 50 miles (just makes me feel warm and fuzzy)

Awesome! I know how those noises can really get under your skin. How was you rig riding before the new shocks as compared to after? I have some front end work coming up soon and maybe thinking about replacing shacks as well.

My front end was hitting the bump stop on even little bumps and had some wander. Now it is tracking a lot straighter and haven't bumped yet, even over the huge speed bumps in my neighborhood. Love it and when I get back from my 2 week trip I will be shaping springs.

After 500 miles and a stop at Twin Peaks, I now have all of the components for the 2011 conversion.

Unfortunately, I do not have a build thread going. After going through my parts list, I'm not totally finished collecting parts. I need the complete cowl assembly, McNasty kit, and the miscellaneous small parts and I will be finished. Hopefully by the end of summer I can have it completed except for paint.

I definitely felt like I was the king of the highway with that massive trailer behind me. Unfortunately, I do not own a trailer and I needed something ASAP since I got the bed for $180. I'm just glad the trailer make it and I was highly impress that it did so well.
