That is a nice se up there, with the camera. Hoping to get a new deck in mine today. Happy birthday to the wife, she gets a new stereo in "my" car? What ever...she want's it, I get it.
just need to take the dealer badge off, and get a tan trim piece for the top. not sure if ill put the king ranch emblem from the old tailgate on it or not
A truck body place is down the street from our shop, never bothered to stop because i figured their prices would be too high. My boss said today, dont know til you ask...stopped in and the guy said hows 375 sound? works for me!! even came with all new brackets and hardware!!!
Caliper seized... do I try removing/lubing first? Get new slide pins? New caliper?
Also, notice the play in the track bar, is it normal?
That smoke does not look good. I'd pull it apart to figure out what failed. if the slide pins are dry/siezed I'd start there. Be prepared to do a new caliper though. Would like to hear other's opinions too.
I'll have to wiggle my track bar to check for the same behavior but I think it should not wiggle that easily. Seems pretty loose in the sockets.
Adjusted the park brake shoes after R&R last year and letting them bed in over the winter. Discovered my rear driver side park brake cable is rusting at the axle end. That's caused it to expand and stick in the sleeve. Gonna try an aftermarket cable first. Would like to have the e-brake/park brake working prior to the family vaction towing the TT next week.
Final preparations before first camping trip of the summer woo hoo! I am most excited to see if the new EBPS brings my mileage back up to 14.5 from 13.1 I was seeing after the cleaning.
