Sorry Ed, I didn't see this till now. Well she has the basic banks 6 gun tuner on there now but was looking at DP. And for the intercooler im looking at the 6.0 intercooler but if its to much work to put one in then I will just put a banks 7.3 cooler in. still undecided.

 

I think the DP set up work nicely and your wife will have more tunes to play with. Be careful you don't want to make her's faster than your's do ya???

And as far as the intercoolers I really don't know how much differents there is between the 2 intercoolers. Can you please explain?? Now honestly does she really need a better intercooler ?? Or do you use the EX to tow with too??

Drove her some more with my new tunes from Eric at innovative diesel. By far this was the best money I spent for my ex. Started installing surgical tubing in the door seals to fix my rattles and waiting on a tool to install new tranny lines. Tried the fluid film I won at Carlisle ATN's.

 

Have to go get mine and fill it with diesel again. I'll take pics of the pump, mileage, and receipt for all the nonbelievers around here.

She will never be as fast as mine but hers is pretty quick.

The 6.0 intercooler is bigger and flows more air. We do tow with it once in awhile but your right i'm more addicated to modding then anything.

Just returned from vacation, 1125 miles, only problem occurred when I got a check engine light on. Returned the tune to stock (from tow mode) amd the light cleared and never came back until I re-tuned it to performance (while not towing), then returned to stock again and it again cleared it and stayed clear for the duration of trip. Any one have any thoughts?

 

Changed out my coolant filter. Last and 4th one, next one will be a yr from now.
