Today's work
Added the front grille LED's:
Yesterday discovered an issue with the 650 dash upgrade (NO fault of RiffRaff)...something about the paint for the 2000 tan dash not existing. RiffRaff is on top of it though, but a delay as we wait for the paint. Marinated on the problem and will be making a temporary console between the center console and dash to house the switches - can at least respond if needed - just won't be ready for public display. Think I'll fashion an "Wizard of Oz" curtain until RiffRaff does their magic.
Anyone who has done installs on FD/PD vehicles, shoot me a PM, I have some questions!

I'm wondering if the Automatic version will stick out and be in the
way of my knee - I'm 6' 1" and judging by the pics it seems the
corner seems to stick out a fair bit.
The price of the manual one though hurts a lot.

Which 650 dash did you order? The Auto (bigger) or Manual (smaller)?

Since my other truck is a 6spd, I know the pain of the F650 manual version's cost...

Blue Sea Fuse block in:
A simple piece of 2" angle aluminum worked for a mount. Drilled one hold to mount to the dash frame and made it long enough to reach the factory fuse box. Left to right you might be able to make out the relay, the fuse box, then the terminal strip.
The Blue Sea has a common ground bus so adding items in the future will be easy. It's running off the relay that is triggered by an add-a-circuit to the fuse box (circuit 4 or 5 I think). It stays on even after the key is removed until a door is opened. I added a 4 position terminal strip that is not relayed for items that need constant 12v power to retain memories (traffic director, etc.). Wiring needs cleaned up and looms installed, but that will come later. Now the front LED's work!
Rear strobe assembly arrived today! I'll install the bulbs in the 'extra' top reflector and post pics. Hoping the back of the reflector is over 1 1/4" (don't remember how big it was).
