What did you do to the X today?
Replaced the little clip that holds the hatch handle to the latch mechanism. nice little surprise when I went to open the hatch and felt the little clip give out (of course in the rain, while I had the family in tow after buying something large that ended up in the front seat, forcing my wife back between the munchkins)

Funny thing happened to me yesterday. Not in the X luckily.
Coming home in the work truck with boat in tow on the highway I ran out of gas. Stupid chevy gas gauge still at the top of the "e" mark... Nearest off ramp is 1/2 mile from where I felt the first few chugs. Feathering the gas I got about 1/4 mile more out of the chev before it gave it up totally. I coasted the last 1/4 mile easily hitting the off ramp at around 45mph. The off ramp however was up hill but there was a gas station on the right side of the highway. Like a figure 8 racer I checked for my hole in the traffic coming over the bridge from the left as I was coming up the off ramp. I found a small hole just ahead of a dump truck that looked to be traveling a bit slower than the other traffic ahead of him. So I modulate the brake to hit the hole but also keep enough speed to crest the hill and make the right hand turn to go down the slight hill towards the gas station. I hit the gap perfectly with good speed yet. Next I had to start looking ahead for the gas station driveway and traffic coming and leaving the station. A goofy right turn then an instant left to get into the station is what I saw, few cars around, but again I found a gap to hit. Last thing I had to look ahead for was a clear path threw the pumps as I am pulling a boat. As I am making the left onto the stations road I see 1 spot in the middle of the station pumps that was clear. I make the left into the station lot (no power steering this whole time, a loaded truck, and boat in tow mind you). The station was busy! Vehicles everywhere, coming and going. I was able to squeeze threw it all and slip in the middle pump lane right up to the pump as if nothing was wrong. Standing on the hard brake pedal.
Used up all my luck on that one and missed the megamillion jackpot...

I redid the dome light bulbs per one of the tech threads on here last night - much better! I also started trying to track down why the trailer brake/turn fuse blew out. l redid some of the grounds on the trailer and was not able to replicate the fuse blowing....maybe that's good? I'll hook it up this weekend and tow it around some to see if there are still any issues.
Unless I'm on a roadtrip THEN and ONLY then do I risk it, lol
Even then, I don't let it go below 1/4 tank.
