I put my WW2 in without removing the turbo.

BUT now have to remove the turbo because the wastegate valve flopped open and is wedged so have to pull the outlet off to get it free. DAMIT

When i had ccv i had same comments. Was cool tell enough cold condensed and plugged it causing my crank case pressure to increase blowing 2.5 gallons of oil out my exhaust in 2 blocks. Now it's stock setup again

No ****?!? Wow. I was lucky and didn't have a issue this winter even when it was below 0* out.

Rolled 220000, of course I missed the actual roll but here is when I realized it while sitting in the Lowe's parking lot
. Seems like the adrenaline pump and ask the other work has led to better mileage (so far I'm up at least 1.5mpg) had been worth the time and effort.

Smoked the passenger side rear brakes...

When I put new brakes and bearings on the rear last year, I should have replaced the rubber lines. I didn't. Either that rubber line is toast or the slide pins caught. Pedal got spongy and wheel sent up smoke signals last night.

That rotor was over 700* - DS rear was 230*, both fronts were around 200*. My plan was to do a complete Powerstop install, with stainless flex hoses next week - she just couldn't have waited one more week...

I didnt like the valve. Took 3 hours to drain the oil. Not good when you have almost 4 gallons in there. I gave mine away.

If* I replace my oil pan, Im going to have a much larger drain plug welded in and add a large valve. My 2011 SD had a huge drain plug, surprised me the first time and made a huge mess. Drained the whole pan in about 45 seconds. WHOOOSH!!

*when

On my 6.8 I just get the oil good and hot, take off the fill cap, remove the filter first, then open the fumoto and it all comes right out. Same with the fumoto on our Mountaineer. If I try it with the fill cap on or the oil filter installed it takes way longer. I guess that means the engine is sealed well though.

Same here on my EX and my Bride's Outback, warmed up, cap off, filter off then open the Fumoto valve, but they both hold much less oil than a PSD or the Exxon Valdez.

I've got that Fumoto on my Work truck, that thing holds 10 gallons of oil n it drains out in no time!! Love that on the work truck. But it has a canister style filter and I always pop that open to let that drain at the same time.
