Rats Russ, I was in DeKalb, IL today, just 10 miles south of you! Now waiting for my delayed flight home. Agree that was a great storm!

Oh, I've seen plenty of Alaska, but in short periods. I've never taken more then a day or two off for a long camping weekend..ect.

And the traveling is mostly to visit family or friends or for events.

The world needs more Ford Tugs.

The whole area is nice, rural and a bit slower paced. A different vibe then I'm used to for sure.

I know a guy who buys old military Tugs which in AK are mostly 4x4 and puts snow plows on them. Perfect driveway rig for sure!

You are just over an hour from me. I am in Antioch, IL. My event, Grunt Fest 2, is today and I can't get away at all. We will have to meet up next time we are in the same part of the world.

Yeah, but Anchorage traffic is a breeze. Plus when you know your way around you can take short cuts

Twitchy, sorry I didn't get with you sooner. The second half of this trip was not planned well so much of it was spur of the moment "lets go" kinda thing.

As long as we (me and my brother) time it right, we usually miss the traffic congestion on 101/10/17/51 as we travel to the different parks when we're over for Spring Training.

Replaced cylinder#7 injector (smoking like a tire fire!) not entirely fun but easier than doing an oil pan on a 6.0.

Drove it!

After replacing all injector O-rings, then #1 injector, then #6 injector. It was a relief to have it fire right up and not smoke like a hippy at a Grateful Dead concert. Just in time to sit in a parking lot for seven days after we leave for our cruise to Alaska. Next Sunday can't come quick enough, I'm super excited.
