David, That old Jeep pickup is sweet, I have always loved that body style. We used to have a '79 J-10 Honcho with the 360 Quadratrac full time 4X4 (might be why I don't mind the V-10's mileage! ) and the campsite next to our's last weekend had a copper '79 J-10 that looked new.
Three on the tree is cool, but 4 on the tree is da bomb! A friend converted his old truck to a 4 speed and used the factory pull out e brake handle as the reverse shifter (had to be sure to be in neutral!) and then installed a late model foot pedal e brake for that function. 4 pedals and 4 on the tree along with Armstrong steering!
Good luck with and I hope you and your daughter have a blast fixing it up and making lasting memories doing it!

Should be a fun project. I will be towing it home this Saturday...

Here are the specs on the truck:

Make: Jeep
Model: Gladiator
Type: Standard Cab Pickup
Trim: J3000 Camper Special
Year: 1967
Mileage: 92000
Color: White/Ivy Green
Engine size: 327 AMC V8
Fuel: Gasoline
Transmission: Manual / 3 on the tree
Drive type: 4 Wheel
Title: Clean
4th Generation owner/ Great Grandpa bought it brand new in '67
Running condition, needs break work and some TLC! Looking for a good home and someone that makes it shine again.

It is a three on the tree. Which will be fun for her to try and learn.

BTW, I only paid a thousand for it!

Last night I did a major service job..

Resealed the engine oil cooler, new thermostat, new fuel filter, synthetic oil change, new external trans filter, and new hose clamps on lower rad hose. So now my last oil leak should be fixed, it only leaked when below 0* outside. And the lower hose leaked randomly. For some reason it was a pain in my *** to fill with coolant. It got a air bubble in it that didn't want to come out for a wile. Lol

Good question, not sure. It all depends upon the cost of things and just how far we want to take it.

I am not against the idea of a disc conversion/upgrade if reasonable.

5k a year, driven weekly in winter and twice a week during summer for Farmer's markets.

I was referring to a Hydroboost setup. Lots of 70's trucks convert to it.

Took a ride down to Donovan Spring to have them make me up some 3/4 inch U bolts and 1/2 inch spring plates. Going to make air bag mounts so I can finally get my Pro Comp rear springs installed soon. Hopefully those U bolts will be strong enough to handle the torque of my 7.3 !

Well, I'm home...barely feeling alive but home. We all ended up getting sick on the trip, I was supposed to be at work today but never left my bed

Sadly I wasn't able to meet up with David or Coop during the trip, maybe next time around!

That reminds me I need to change the oil in my Excursion, when I was under it a week or so ago I noticed the date on the oil filter was July 2014, the same month I got my F-150 almost 2 years ago...oops but I've only put about 5,000 miles on it in that time.

So figured i'd share a few photos from the trip. I spotted something I thought was cool at the Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood, WA which was a Excursion with Alaska plates.

As I shared before i had a 2016 EcoBoost convertible Mustang. I loved the car! it was comfortable and the turbo 4 had plenty of get up and go and was able to muster 24.5 mpg with my lead foot.
