New Drive Belt, Pulley, Idler Arm, Steering Damper and 140 amp alternator

Did a little preventative maintenance this morning. Changed the Drive belt, idler arm and pulley using NAPA parts. Also added National Quick Start upgraded alternator as well. I went with the 140 amp model. I then added the Rough Country double steering dampers and car tracks noticeably better. Old parts showing.

Yes please! I like lots of pics, especially comparison pics of the new HID next to stock halogen. Also light output (on garage door or something) pics.

Edit* Maybe start a (THE HID thread) where all hid talk and comparison pics and stuff can go. My hope is eventually we will find a "The kit to get" kind of deal.

I went with the DDM Tuning HID kit, 5000k. I'll try to get some pics up, very pleased with the end results.

Yeah I agree...perhaps call it the Definitive Excursion HID upgrade thread...

Been wanting to so the same upgrade for a while now myself. I also hear that you can lose the highbeam function once you go to HID...is this correct?

Retro-Solutions.

custom HID conversions, HID kits, LED, CCFL specialists - retrosolutions

Their kit is very well made, and their customer service is the best I've read about on the net.

A lot of guys like the DDM kit too, but their customer service after the sale (problems after install) isn't as good at Retro-Solutions. This is my opinion based on threads and posts I've read on the different forums.

Looks as though they only offer a bixenon for the H13's. I am hoping to use a strait HID with the solenoid that moves them back and forth.

Edit* like these but I would like to hear someone that has tried some makes to know if they will last or not.

Now that Stewart has access to the Tech Folder we may be able to put together enough information to suggest it be put in there.

Here is one That I have gotten
eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

The low beam HID is awesome. The high beam sucks but I only use the low beam. I really like the 4300 color temp.
