I use two of those same Glow Shift Max Tow gauges and really like having both the digital readout and the traditional sweep gauge.

Are those side rounded pieces included with that Andriod radio kit or are they part of a separate installation kit? I'm most likely going to be going with that same exact Joying radio shortly, how do you like it so far?
The filter mount is a Derale setup. This one to be exact: Derale 13090 Transmission Filter Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000CJ25PC..._-Dd3wb0NV14AW

I see they have just the filter mount for 25 bucks though and that is probably the better way to go.

The radio install kit I got from Metra has those round things that don't fit right on the sides. I am going to cut them off and just use the plates still screwed into the sides. Then maybe try to fit the trim ring around the front of the radio. So far I like it. The sound is just this side of tinney unless you use the "jazz" setting and tweak it a bit. The only thing that quit on me was the Bluetooth OBD2. No software on this unit will talk to it anymore. It connects to Bluetooth and the apps can see it, but won't communicate. I suspect it's the cheapo reader mixed with a bad implementation of Bluetooth on the radio. My phone still connects and works with both the reader and radio. I even factory reset the thing and it won't work with OBD2. The only other fault I have discovered is some of the lesser apps, like the kind to troubleshoot Bluetooth, do not play well in landscape mode and you can not scroll down to the OK button that you can't see. So some apps are not useable, but nothing I really need. Overall for the money it is a value if audiophile sound isn't your thing.

The neat thing about storing a vehicle over winter is that vehicle feels 'new' to you every spring you pull it out. You almost get that feeling like you got when you first bought your X.

I pulled mine out of storage around a week ago so I could get at some stuff behind it. She started right up and I even drove her threw the snow!

I hear ya and it makes a lot of sense. I just don't have a vehicle that I like in the winter more than the ex. I do spray it down a lot more in the winter to keep the salt off.

We will be at Anchor Down RV Resort New RV Resort, Breathtaking Views, Fireplaces, BathHouse, STAY WITH US in Dandridge TN from the 11th through the 20th and they are pretty empty, so lots of open sites. It looks to be about 7 hours and 480 miles from Gettysburg to there, and it's only about 7 miles or so off I-81/40 if you guys are heading down that way. We can have a hot meal waiting for you!

We will be in Site #171, nice view and close to the water. Hopefully it will be warm enough to play with the new kayaks.

Drove the Ex yesterday because it has the snow tires still on, roads are pretty good now though. Stopped in and dropped a bunch of parts off at the shop that has the Cougar, it's getting real close now. Then stopped by the parts store and got a new alternator for the '91 F-250 as it decided to die on me. Not bad though the last alternator was put in March 2002 about a week before the transmission blew up in a huge snow storm.

Also picked up new blades for the Excursion, went with a 22" on the pass side this time.

AND I scored a great running little generator for my camper, its only 600W but all i need it for is to keep the 12v batteries charged for the heater, water pump, lights and radio.

So we didn't need to spend $700 on a Champion 3100 generator?? How much do those little runs cost? Heater runs off propane unless we want to plug in a little space heater. We have yet to use our A/C. Would be nice to have one like that instead of lugging the heavy one with all the time!

Depends on your trailer and requirements will decide what you need. 99.9% of places I camp here in AK don't have hook up's (out in the boonies) so keeping the battery up is a huge deal. I can't run my A/C or Microwave with this but I don't need them anyhow.

This little unit I got is used from a coworker, it's as old as I am I think but runs like a top! I paid $200 for it, its light and SUPER quiet! I also need to upgrade to two batteries as 1 doesn't cut it for me.

Thanks for all of the info, I entered the filter mount into my "Ex Bible" with all of my other goodies and part numbers accumulated over the years.
I'd rep you again but I'm shot out currently, hopefully someone else can hit you up!
