After buying probably a dozen different mounts for my car (magnetic, suction cup, cup holder, cd slot...etc) I discovered Panavise for custom vehicle mounts.

It gets better - Panavise is only about 3 miles from my house.

It gets even better - turns out one of my friends works for Panavise!

Woot woot!

Here is the mount I'm going to use:

http://panavise.com/pdf_indash/751072399.pdf

And then this holder:

PanaVise Products, Inc.

Stuff usually tows better with the vehicle parked on forward. Gives enough tounge wt so they don't want to sway.

Took the truck to my local muffler shop and put it up on the lift. Seems like the headers are leaking, not the flanges. I'm going to tighten the bolts down tomorrow morning and see how it goes.

True, but seeing how it wasn't my trailer and the hitch was already set higher than my receiver would accommodate. So it was either balance the weight a little to back or drag the jack through pavement. Thanks for the criticism though....it pulled beautifully... with out swaying.

I tightened up my rear hatch grab handle, installed the rubber bumpers that keep the paint from chaffing on the barn doors and, most importantly got my HD lugnuts and caps on

Also ordered an adjustable Trac bar from Sky's Off Road Design which is a manufacturer of off road components that's about a mile from me.

139 dollars all machined up and made in house w bushings etc included.

That should take care of my springs popping and binding against the hangers due to the X codes.
