Nissan 370Z. That big empty space is for the stock muffler.

Is that a giant scrape mark on the rear or just camera flash?

Nice!

I haven't had any luck finding Excursion specific apparel. Didn't realize FTE had stuff like that either.

Have you ever had a great idea, spend a full day putting it into action, then think it wasn't really that great of an idea ????

That cushion has been a huge part of my life lol.

Made forts with it when I was way little, watched tons of movies on it, used it to fly down the stairs at 3000 mph, and now its dedicated to the garage.

It covers 1/2 the engine bay if needed, and is thick enough to protect both the engine and me. I don't feel a thing.

Also works great for laying under the truck, or taking a break to search for the next step on my phone... Or to just cool down before the grinder comes out and starts to make things a whole lot easier, and more expensive.

Love it.

Cheers,

Nate

No, it was a corporate fleet vehicle before I got it. Driven by old guys around town and a few trips to Valdez.

They were there a year ago when I switched tires over, but this spring when I put the summer tires on both are totally gone! From the sounds of it, it's pretty common though.

So I ordered a Bilstein replacement steering damper on Amazon.... well, apparently I somehow ordered two. So its a loss to pay return shipping to send one back. So do I sell one on CL and take a small hit that way? Or.... just keep the second one, so in two years when the first one looks like crap I just swap in the second one??

No ...... great idea ! Just make a couple simple brackets and make the single into a dual stabilizer !!

So I spend my Sunday doing just that, at a cost of $8 in hardware.

And as I stand back and admire my work....... I realize I've just turned my ruck into a mall crawler.

The tank is the black piece ahead of the rear end with the aluminum heat shield on it.

The car was a 370Z.

Yup not even plates on it yet lol.

Those marks are actually a little bit of salt splash off the road... I hate salt!
