What did you do to the X today?
I finally got the rear procomp springs installed and my Rancho 9000xl's. Amazing.
I could NOT get the shackles off... the bolt that holds them to the bracket were completely jammed in there. I ended up having to cut the shackle to get the old spring out and cutting the bolt to get the shackle off...
Will tackle the front tomorrow but it's already alot better.

Cold, so cold. So is the trick to 6.0 ownership, just don't look and you'll be fine? I know I enjoy the drive much more when the Dashboss isn't hooked up.
Nope, it went to the scrap yard a while ago. It's a shame, those rockers were in nice shape when I pulled the cladding off. But, I did cut the right rear corner out for someone and boy was it tough. That stuff isn't easy to cut, especially when there are multiple layers.
Its funny you say that. I was just commenting (bitching) about all the sliencers and "intake volume" they are putting in my way lately. They make the engines silent then put turbos on it and complain about air noise. Sorry but if I buy a truck with turbos on it, part of the fun is hearing it.
On the mileage, yeah, anything we build with a turbo is a gas hog. But if you want pulling/hauling power with todays V6 garbage, you need the turbos.

It wasn't today, but since I haven't been on in a while, here's a few things I've done to the Ex this year:
- Took it up north over the Fourth of July, put about 500-600 miles on it. Ran fine, no issues at all.
- Replaced the wiper blades. Went with Trico ExactFits, like the original factory blades were. The rear blade was still the factory one actually. Put a 16 on the back and twin 24s up front.
- Replaced the battery. Not a single issue with it and still started like new, but it was coming up on three years, and with a three year full replacement warranty at Autozone, I took advantage of that. Should be good for at least another three years now.

Welcome to So Cal. There are definitely more Prius's than Ex's but I'm here representing too. You will recognize me because I'm the one towing our TT. I'm going camping, I'm going camping
We took my Ex to go get my grandpas new to him '08 Sport Trac V8 AWD Adrenalin tonight. He doesn't have to daily drive the Oldsmobile anymore...just in time to have a new radiator put in early next week.
My uncle is on the way home from Seattle with his new GMC pickup, I'll be getting my new to me F-150 within a few days...its new truck month in the family apparently.
its a badass little truck! this is his second black sport trac
