Installed Rancho steering stabilizer($50 Rock Auto 1/2 hr), Mile Marker 449ss hubs($89.20 Summit Racing 1/2 hr) and new sway bar links($36 Rock Auto 1hr). All very easy and produced noticeable improvements. Best money spent.

Yea, I put up a post with the numbers broken out into 35 digit strings to make it easier...let me see if I can find it again...

Plus it has the location of where the codes can be in the truck if you feel like bending yourself into a pretzel to see them...

LED Upgrade for C and D Cell Flashlights

I see it's only available in store for $10. I got mine as an open box return for $7 and you can always find a 20% coupon for Harbor Freight.

That's pretty trick.

If anyone needs dash mounts (for phones, iPod, gps, etc.), be sure to check out a mount called "Kuda". I use one for my GPS and I think it's pretty nice...covered in "leather", fits tight to the dash and it's pretty solid. For our trucks they make an upper dash model (above the stereo), lower dash (look at the pocket by the adjustable pedal button).

Our '05 has a four corner Air Lift air bag system that we added. When I moved the brake controller into the cubby and off the custom made bracket, I moved the air bag control up higher too where I could reach and adjust it. It doesn't weigh much at all. I cleaned the plastic really really good and used a strip of double sided tape (the outdoor stuff) on the whole flat bracket. Put the thing up there and it wouldn't even grab/hold for a second. I really didn't want to put any more holes in the dash, but I ended up doing that after all. I wonder if it's something with the '05 plastic?

On the other hand, as a word of caution, the adhesive on the dash velcro holding my Scangauge on in the '02 started giving way last fall. I have it mounted right below the headlight switch. When I took the old velcro off, I used the 3M adhesive remover in the spray can to clean off the residue. On one side, it started to actually like melt the plastic and began to take some of the color off. It's not real noticeable right now (with the SG & velcro off that is), but it really surprised me. Granted that plastic part is much darker in the '02 than the '05, so maybe it was just removing years of grime? I don't think so though.

Consider this your notice, I'll be back in another two weeks (December 3rd).

If you haven't already done so, we can knock out the 50cent mod and whatever other projects you have on your list...
